We are a small, independent, elder-led congregation that loves Jesus and welcomes everyone. Our mission is simple: to help everyone know Jesus and become more like Him.
We worship in a casual, friendly style and offer opportunities to grow in faith through small groups for all ages.
Life can be messy, but Jesus has healed and helped us, and we want to walk alongside you as you grow in your relationship with Him.
Here’s what we believe and why it matters for every person:
1. God is relational and loving.
God exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — three persons as one God, perfect in unity. He created us to know Him personally, to share in who He is, and to partner with Him in bringing order and goodness into the world (Genesis 1:27, NIV).
2. Humans tend to rebel and sin.
We naturally want to control our lives and decide for ourselves what is right and wrong. This rebellion leads to sin. None of us can live a sinless life or fix the mess we make on our own (Romans 3:23, NIV).
3. Sin separates us from God.
Our sins, rebellions, and iniquities break our relationship with God. Sin is disobeying God’s commands. Rebellion is refusing His authority. Iniquity is twisting the truth to fit our desires. Together, these separate us from Him (Isaiah 59:2, NIV).
4. Religion cannot save us.
On our own, we try to cover our brokenness with systems and rules — whether man-made religions, self-help, or materialism. These cannot restore us. Only God can save us (Ephesians 2:8-9, NIV).
5. Jesus paid our debt.
Jesus, fully God and fully man, lived the perfect life we cannot live. At the cross, He willingly took our sins upon Himself and gave us His righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21, NIV). This is called penal substitutionary atonement — He took our place so we could be forgiven.
6. Jesus offers reconciliation and new life.
Through grace, not works, Jesus invites us into a restored relationship with God. When we trust and believe in Him, we are forgiven and renewed. He helps us reorder our lives around His truth, repair our identities and relationships, and uses us to bring His healing into the world (Colossians 1:21-22, NIV).
7. Salvation is a gift, empowered by the Spirit.
We cannot earn God’s forgiveness. Salvation is only received through faith, recognizing Jesus as Lord (the only One who rules over us) and Savior (the only One who can save us). The Holy Spirit empowers us to follow Jesus, experience true life, and grow in relationship with God (John 14:26, NIV).
Here’s what we believe regarding other common questions people have:
We believe in one God who exists eternally as three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — each fully God, yet perfectly united. God invites us into a personal relationship with Him (Matthew 28:19, NIV).
Jesus is fully God and fully man. He came to earth, lived a perfect life, died for our sins, and physically rose again. Through Him, we are forgiven and reconciled to God (John 1:14, NIV; 2 Corinthians 5:21, NIV).
The Holy Spirit is God living in every believer. He comforts, guides, teaches, and empowers us to follow Jesus, live according to God’s ways, and grow in spiritual maturity (John 14:26, NIV; Acts 1:8, NIV).
The Bible is God’s inspired Word and our ultimate authority in all matters of faith and life. It teaches us how to know God, live for Him, and grow in Christ-likeness (2 Timothy 3:16-17, NIV).
Salvation is a gift of God’s grace. We cannot earn it by our actions. When we trust and believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior, we are forgiven, restored, and empowered to live a new life (Ephesians 2:8-9, NIV; John 3:16, NIV).
We follow Jesus’ example by baptizing believers — those who have made a personal decision to follow Him. Baptism publicly expresses our faith and symbolizes dying to sin and rising to new life in Christ (Matthew 28:19, NIV; Romans 6:4, NIV).
The church is God’s family, not a building. It is a community of believers who support, encourage, and help one another grow more like Jesus. Together, we reflect God’s love to the world (Hebrews 10:24-25, NIV; 1 Corinthians 12:27, NIV).
Prayer is talking and listening to God. It is our way to express gratitude, seek guidance, confess sins, and intercede for others. God invites us to communicate with Him daily (Philippians 4:6-7, NIV; 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, NIV).
God created marriage as a covenant between one man and one woman. Marriage is a picture of Christ’s love for the church and is intended for life-long commitment (Genesis 2:24, NIV; Ephesians 5:22-27, NIV).
